Hello, I'm Nicole and I work with Phoebe in the infant room. I have been a teacher around the world for 15 years and finally settled back down in Colorado to pursue my career in Early Childhood Education.
I began my teaching career by joining the Peace Corps right after college. I traveled around the world and taught English in Vanuatu, Pakistan, Africa, and then experience some work in Europe where I met Phoebe. We kept in touch while I was in the last years of my time with the Peace Corps and she introduced me to her classroom at the Wonderland Child Care Center. I instantly fell in love with the environment and decided to make sure I'd be working there alongside Phoebe.
I bring a lot of knowledge about the way in which English is learn and language is developed which enables me to work with our English Language Learning students. I provide help with other educators in our center with these amazing kids at different age levels as well. I have a degree with Early Childhood Education as well as a specialization in Spanish. But with my Peace Corp experience, I have learned other languages as well.
And the rest is history!
