Hello, I'm Mrs. Doe, and am the director of the Wonderland Child Care Center here in Colorado. I am pleased that you have taken time to read the profiles of our amazing staff! Without them our great child care center would not be what it is today.
Well, to tell you about myself, I am 35 years old and have lived in Colorado my entire life. I have an amazing husband, 3 children, and two adorable dogs. We currently reside in the country just outside of town. Mr. Doe is a construction manager at the Colorado State University.
I received my Bachelor's and Master's from the University of Northern Colorado in Early Childhood Education, while maintaining my director's qualifications as well. As for the rest of my educational career, I am currently taking a few developmental courses just to maintain my knowledge and keep updated on the newest information about Early Childhood.
I have directed for a child care center in eastern Colorado for 3 years prior and loved every moment of it. I ran into Miss Willier while taking classes at the University of Norther Colorado and instantly became great friends and colleagues. She came to work for me for a couple years at my former child care center. I knew she would become someone who I could share my idea of opening and running our own child care center with. Once we sat down and worked on the details for a the years to come, we finally were able to get established and get to work.
It has been quite an exciting ride full of amazing people, inspiring children, and hard-working staff. I am so honored to be the director of the Wonderland Child Care Center and am greatful for the many years to come!
